TEAM Sports Surfaces Ltd was established to offer the quality range of
products available in the Australian market from TEAM Sports, Sydney.
TEAM Sports is a leading Australian manufacturer of synthetic sports
surfaces for tennis, hockey, school multi-use, lawn bowls, cricket,
soccer, rugby, golf and childcare. Regarded as one of the largest
suppliers of synthetic soccer fields to South East Asia, TEAM Sports
have manufactured, supplied and installed over 120 soccer fields into
South East Asia alone.
The TEAM Sports Surfaces head office is located in Auckland with a large
warehousing facility for storage of all surfaces. TEAM Sports Surfaces
Ltd has a network of established agents throughout New Zealand with a
focus on the local tennis and school multi-use market that provide
immediate response and ongoing maintenance services.
The TEAM Sports Surfaces staff based in Auckland provide support for
local agents and focus on large one-off projects throughout New Zealand.
These projects include installation of FIH approved hockey surfaces,
FIFA certified synthetic soccer fields and more recently IRB approved
rugby surfaces.
TEAM has the financial capability and experience to undertake the
design, construction, installation and maintenance of major field
projects. TEAM has held contracts and been contracted under works for
public sector organizations: Ministry of Education, Local Councils,
Sporting Trusts and Associations.
TEAM are confident that we have the products and infrastructure
available to deliver a first-class playing surface anywhere in New
Zealand.

Experience: Phil has worked in the sports construction and surfacing industry since 2002, initially working on local NZ and export sales to the South Pacific and throughout Asia. Phil was involved in the design and construction of large facilities in New Zealand and Asia, in particular Asia where projects could range from 15,000sqm up to 40,000sqm per project.
In 2006, Phil started TEAM Sports Surfaces Ltd in partnership with John Curtis from Sydney. Phil is the managing director of TEAM Sports Surfaces’ head office in Auckland and has extensive experience from initial design concept through to hands on site installation. Phil is responsible for major project management and onsite quality control providing guidance on all aspects of construction and turf installation. Phil has a BCom/Bsc degree from Auckland University majoring in ‘marketing’ and ‘sports science’ where he specialised in athlete physiology and biomechanics. |

Brad Potier - Director |

Experience: Having worked in civil construction since 1993, firstly as a Contracts Engineer, then as a Civil Project and Civil Contracts Manager Brad Potier has extensive experience in all sectors of civil construction. He has worked as Contract Manager and became a director of TEAM Sports in 2010.
Brad is responsible for contract administration, management, tendering, quality and client liaison. He has a thorough understanding of contract law as it applies to civil construction projects and the contractual requirements of civil construction contracts Brad has excellent local knowledge of construction materials and requirements (e.g. base course, chip seal and asphalt) and he is proud that all sports field construction by TEAM Sports Surfaces meets international standards. Brad is a people person and highly competent in team leadership. He believes that keeping people informed is the key to a project’s success. His inclusive approach to project management has enhanced the company’s culture of excellence, resulting in all members of a contract team contributing to its quality and success. |

Experience: Dave has spent the past four years managing Waikato Stadium and Seddon Park. Both himself and his fourteen staff helped ensure Hamiltons premier stadiums remained in world class condition to host international and Domestic events such as Rugby World Cup 2011, All Blacks Test matches, Super Rugby finals, International cricket etc…
David also spent a number of years overseeing the sports parks contracts for the Hamilton City Council. He brings a wealth of experience and we are excited to have him join our team. |
